Action Fund Phase I
The Action Fund is only open to members of the K12 Community of Practice Forum. Become a member.
To participate in the Action Fund, you must first submit a brief project outline — about the length of an elevator pitch. Your outline will include descriptions of the following:
The Problem. Describe the postsecondary outcomes data challenge you are trying to solve. Include the student groups and other audiences (e.g., school administrators, counselors, policymakers, etc.) affected and how this challenge makes it difficult for your state to provision data to districts and schools.
The Solution. Describe how your solution will improve the problem. Include the stakeholder(s) who would use or implement the solution (e.g., district leaders, school administrators, school counselors, data analysts, etc.).
The Result. Describe what will change or how the problem will improve after the solution has been implemented. Include the benefits to your intended audiences and how it will better equip your state to provide data to districts and schools.
Point of Contact. This should be the person who is best suited to answer questions about your proposed project. Ideally, the person who will participate in technical assistance and training to develop the proposal.

Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Action Fund, applicants must be
- a member of the K12 CoP Forum;
- a government or 501c3 agency that handles state-level postsecondary outcome data; and
- able to designate a team member to participate in at least one virtual coaching session and complete online trainings designed to strengthen your project scope.
