About the K12 CoP
The K12 Community of Practice: Using Postsecondary Data (K12 CoP) is supported by Quality Information Partners (QIP). It is a freely-accessible, community-driven collective of state-level K12 postsecondary data users, collectors, managers, and analysts who collaborate to share challenges, potential solutions, best practices, and resources to improve pathways for students.
Community-driven discussions are the primary focus of the CoP. Participants work towards increasing the dissemination and use of postsecondary outcomes data to inform policy and instruction that improves students’ transitions from high school to higher education or the workforce.
The K12 CoP helps users make better use of postsecondary outcomes data by
- facilitating collaboration and resource-sharing among state-level data users, managers, and stewards;
- encouraging participants to share challenges, potential solutions, and best practices; and
- offering access to funding, training, and technical assistance to create a comprehensive project scope to develop projects that expand postsecondary data access and use.
