In Phase II, eligible Action Fund participants who submitted project outlines in Phase I will receive training and coaching to develop a comprehensive project scope that addresses the challenges defined in the project outline.

Potential benefits to Phase II participants include:

  • opportunities to meet as a cohort for collaboration and information exchange;
  • access to knowledge and resources around proven practices from states and experts in the field; and
  • professional development in designing measurable project outcomes and making data accessible through plain language, data visualizations, and universal design.

Participants must be members of the K12 CoP Forum and have completed Phase I to proceed to Phase II.

Project Scope Criteria

The project scope will clearly articulate the proposed project's objectives, outcomes, and alignment with the Action Fund's priorities to improve postsecondary outcomes data use. The project scope will specify the technical approach or methodology for performing the work, the expected deliverables to be produced, and the anticipated timeline for completing the project (within a 12- to 18-month timeframe).

Please note: The requirements listed below are for informational purposes to give potential Phase I applicants an idea of what Phase II will entail.
